A variety of Genesee County Career Technical Education Early Middle College (GC CTE EMC) programs are available through the Genesee Career Institute and local school districts. Students must apply during their 10th grade year and commit to a 13th year of school. Local colleges, Genesee County public school districts, and the Genesee Intermediate School District are working collaboratively on this initiative.
How to Apply
Students wishing to apply to the GC CTE EMC program should select their desired Program of Study and then complete and submit the entire Student Application packet to their high school counselor by March 20, 2017.
Students accepted into the program will remain students of their high school and may attend courses at Baker College, Genesee Career Institute, and Mott Community College to complete requirements in their Program of Study.
