Genesee Academic LeagueKnown under dozens of titles -- Academic Challenge, Quiz Bowl, the Varsity Sport of the Mind -- the Genesee Academic League involves high school students in rapid recall academic competition, designed to showcase their knowledge and wisdom. The competitive format has proven one of the most effective ways to make learning fun -- and to shine the spotlight on the bright young people in our schools. All league meets will occur on Wednesday afternoons. Each team will play every other team in their division once during the season. At the final meet, teams will play a “crossover” game against a team of the same ranking from the other division.See the League schedule for the 2009-10 school year.
