A charitable organization affiliated with the Genesee Intermediate School District

The Genesee County Educational Foundation (GCEF) is a nonprofit organization established in 1985 by the Genesee Intermediate School District and governed by a volunteer board of directors.

GCEF is dedicated to charitable, educational and scientific purposes by:

• Conducting programs that enhance the quality and availability ofenvironmental education and learning
• Supporting and promoting projects and programs to improve learningand appreciation for the natural sciences
• Developing and implementing a public relations program to advancethe mission of the foundation
• Establishing restricted subfunds in support of specific educationalinitiatives (e.g., early childhood education, alternative high schoolopportunities and scholarships.)

Founded to support educational excellence and contribute to the quality of life for all residents of Genesee County, the GCEF is funded by individual and corporate contributions, in addition to grants from foundations and other philanthropic organizations.

What can I do to support the Genesee County Educational Foundation?

Tax deductible contributions can be made to the Foundation in several ways:

• Make a gift of cash, check, securities or personal property in any amount
• Designate gifts as a memorial to loved ones, living or deceased
• Volunteer time to assist with Foundation projects
