Attendance Intervention Procedures
The Attendance Intervention program is jointly funded by the Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) and Genesee County's 21 constituent school districts. The Attendance Liaison Officer works with districts to ensure students comply with state law, district policies, and procedures related to student attendance and truancy.
The following forms must be completed and submitted to the Family Court when filing a petition:
As of 9/4/12, the Academic Record, Documentation of Contacts, and Pre-Referral Checklist
are optional for filing Educational Neglect and Truancy.
