General Information

The Multi-District Consortium is a non-profit educational consortium to establish and operate a high capacity interconnected fiber optic telecommunications system which will provide interactive voice/video/data interconnections and services to multiple sites in the region for educational purposes, such as distance learning, research, and the operations of the educational institutions. Consortium members include the counties of Genesee, Lapeer, Midland, Saginaw, Shiawassee and St. Clair.
