GISD's education team is collectively responsible for the management of a $131
million organization and the operation of its programs at 10 facilities, as well as numerous collaborative partnerships. With nearly 1,200 staff members, GISD serves a region that includes 21 public school districts, 10 public school academies and 19 nonpublic schools, totaling 81,281 students.
Public
Act 413 of 2004 requires GISD to post employee information for those who have a compensation package with a total annual monetary value in the top 3% of the district's employees (maximum of 20).
