We will help you raise children who are honest, caring, and ethical. Children who are prepared to make positive contributions. The Main Library, offers an extensive reference department, research collections, local history and genealogy collections and 50,000 volume Children's Library. The Library serves as an important community gathering place which allows the library to host lectures, concerts, author visits, and other community events. The three branch libraries provide library and information services to neighborhoods in West Flint, North Flint and South Flint. The Bookmobile brings library services to day care centers and neighborhood centers. Check out the "Kids Web" site as well.

children infancy through age six. Families can earn "kid cash" vouchers by completing activities promoting the health & well-being of their child. "Kid Cash" vouchers can be redeemed at various local businesses for service. Comfort Calls are also available for families needing telephone support.
