Our Mission

GISD/MCIC students will be given the opportunity for lifelong learning by being provided instruction within the school, home and community using a team approach.

Our Program

Genesee Intermediate School District’s Marion D. Crouse Instructional Center (MCIC) is a year-round, center based school for students identified with severe cognitive and severe multiple impairments (SCI and SXI). MCIC serves approximately 200 students from 21 local school districts in Genesee County, ages 3 through 26.

Services

MCIC staff include an administrator, teachers, para-educators, consultants, occupational therapists, speech therapists, music therapist, physical therapists and physical therapy assistant, nurses, secretaries, social worker, custodians, food service workers, and foster grandparents.
