On Saturday, January 25, 2025, educators will gather at Genesee ISD for a day dedicated to empowering young minds through literacy. This year’s 23rd Annual Literacy Conference promises to be an engaging and inspiring event, featuring Colby Sharp as the keynote speaker.

Sharp, a passionate fifth-grade teacher at Parma Elementary School in Michigan, brings a wealth of experience to the stage. He’s the co-founder of Nerd Camp and the Nerdy Book Club, as well as the co-author of Game Changer! Book Access for All Kids. As the editor of The Creativity Project: An Awesometastic Story Collection, Sharp continues to champion creativity and literacy for all.

Participants will enjoy a variety of sessions designed to enhance literacy skills, explore innovative strategies, and collaborate with fellow educators to support student success.
