Genesee ISD Announces Biennial Election

Genesee Intermediate School District logoFLINT – The Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) Board of Education biennial election meeting will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. The election meeting will be held in the Legacy Auditorium of the Erwin L. Davis Education Center located at 2413 West Maple Avenue in Flint, Michigan. 

A total of four seats will be up for election:

• One partial two-year term ending June 30, 2025
• One partial four-year term ending June 30, 2027
• Two six-year terms ending June 30, 2029

Genesee County’s Clerk, Domonique D. Clemons will be the election coordinator. Candidates are required to file an application/petition with the Genesee County Clerk’s office and gain signatures of support or pay a $100 fee. All paperwork is due to the Genesee County Clerk’s office by May 8, 2023 at 4:00 p.m.
