Grow Your Career Here!
At the Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD), people are our greatest asset! One of GISD’s strategic planning focus areas includes a goal related to creating a Culture of Growth for all those we serve, including staff.
We strive to ensure the culture at GISD is one of positivity and future success for all staff. This is accomplished in many ways, including coaching/mentoring, position-specific training, and a variety of additional professional learning opportunities.
All staff have opportunities for career growth and advancement within our organization. For example, GISD has several Grow Your Own programs that provide professionals who work directly with students an opportunity to become a teacher or to expand their teaching endorsement areas. Additionally, many other advancement opportunities exist for non-educators who serve in support roles.
These perspectives from staff are just a few examples of the support, training, and opportunities for advancement available at GISD.
