The Genesee County Association of School Board Members (GCASBM) recently hosted its annual Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB) CBA and Scholarship Award Ceremony, honoring the achievements of outstanding high school seniors and dedicated board members from across the county.

GISD is proud to announce the winners of the 2025 Youth Entrepreneurship Final Pitch Competition. The top high school entrepreneurs from across Genesee County pitched their business ideas to a panel of judges to earn funding and gain real-world entrepreneurial experience.

GISD proudly recognizes the remarkable students who participated in the 2025 Genesee County Spelling Bee! With impressive vocabulary, focus, and determination, students from schools across Genesee County competed for top honors in this annual academic tradition.

GISD Special Education team is proud to announce the 3rd Annual “Signing Day” event for its Project SEARCH® site in partnership with Genesee County Parks. Join us on May 6, 2025 to celebrate this collaborative effort supporting students with disabilities as they transition from school to the workforce.
