The Importance of Early Intervention
Everyone in a child's life should be aware of the signs indicating developmental delay and take measures to ensure that children receive the Early On® intervention services they need. When children are referred by physicians and healthcare providers for Early On® services, GISD service coordinators begin working with families to assess and evaluate the child's development, and then ensure that priorities are met and services are provided, and the child is making progress.
