Special Education

Genesee Intermediate School District's (GISD) Special Education Services provide educational programs and additional services to students with disabilities, their families, and local school districts. Staff provide support services for students throughout Genesee County. Services also include the Early On® Genesee County program. Administrative Services

Administrative services are located at the Special Education Services Center at 5075 Pilgrim Road, Flint, MI 48507.

Instructional Programs

GISD center-based programs provide classroom instruction and services for students with disabilities. Placements in center-based programs are initiated in cooperation with local school districts, parents, and GISD staff. Specialized programs include:
