Genesee Intermediate School District’s (GISD) Special Education Services provides specialized programs and support for students with disabilities from birth to age 26.
We are seeking teachers (especially with ASD or CI endorsements) and student support staff for our Special Education programs.
Salary range has increased for 2025-2026! New range is from $47,496 (BA) to $92,683 (MA+30).
Benefits include five different health plans along with dental, vision, life, and disability insurance after one full day of employment. Employees are offered flexible savings (FSA) or healthcare savings (HSA) accounts based on elected medical plan.
Additionally, retirement savings plans are available through the Michigan Office of Retirement Services (ORS).
