The Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) has immediate openings for a variety of substitutes throughout our organization, including Substitute Secretary and Substitute Teacher positions.
Substitute Secretary
Our Substitute Secretaries are a part of the GISD team and are employed through Genesee Education Consultant Services, Inc. (GECS).
We are seeking both day-to-day and long-term Substitute Secretaries to provide support in a school office or department throughout the district. The positions pay $105 per day (7.5 hours) or more when employed in a long-term assignment.
Substitute Teacher
Our Substitute Teachers are a part of the GISD team and are employed through Edustaff.
We are seeking both day-to-day and long-term Substitute Teachers for positions in buildings and programs throughout the district, including in our general education and special education classrooms. Our substitute teacher positions pay $130 per day. That increases to $150 per day after 30 consecutive days subbing in the same position and $170 per day after 60 consecutive days subbing in the same position.
