GCI Student Advances in Mott Million Challenge

She has been named one of only 60 semi-finalists in the national Mott Million Dollar Challenge.

Presley’s innovative business pitch stood out among more than 5,300 K-12 student submissions from all 50 states and Washington, D.C. The competition celebrates bold entrepreneurial ideas from students across the country, with approximately 1,500 entries advancing to the first-round winner level.

As a first-round winner, Presley received a $250 award. Advancing to the semi-finalist round earned her an additional $5,000, bringing her total winnings this far to $5,250.

The 60 semi-finalists will now move on to the final round of competition, taking place in Flint on June 15–16, 2026, where finalists will compete for an additional $25,000 prize.

Presley’s achievement reflects the creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit fostered through the GCI Marketing Pitch Club and Linden Community Schools.
