The Youth Entrepreneurship (YE) Final Pitch Competition, hosted by GISD, will take place on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the Genesee Career Institute, 5081 Torrey Rd, Flint.
This highly anticipated event will showcase the top 10 student entrepreneurs from Genesee County. Students will pitch their innovative products, services, social enterprises, or technology businesses for a chance to win cash prizes.
These students will earn their spot in the final round after competing in local school district competitions. On April 24, they will present their business ideas to a panel of judges for a chance to win funding and gain valuable entrepreneurial experience.
All 10 competitors will receive a cash prize, with the top three earning the following cash prizes:
1st Place: $2,000
2nd Place: $1,500
3rd Place: $1,000
The YE Final Pitch Competition provides high school students with a real-world entrepreneurial experience, teaching them essential skills like business planning, public speaking, and problem-solving. By fostering innovation and leadership, this competition prepares students for future careers in business and entrepreneurship.
