GISD is excited to announce the official launch of the Career Connection Center, a free resource designed to help high school seniors and recent graduates. The Center provides access to personalized, one-on-one guidance to help plan their next steps after graduation.
Students can explore career and education opportunities, get help with college admissions, financial aid, and skilled trades programs. Career coaching is also available, including help with resume writing, interviewing, and career planning.
The Career Connection Center is part of the
Genesee Opportunity (GO) program and can be accessed through the
Beyond Graduation website. Students can also get support applying for and using their GO Stipend, which helps cover costs for college or career credential programs.
Students interested in one-on-one support can contact Career Specialist Hannah Johnson at
[email protected] or call (810) 591-4246 for more information.
Whether you’re planning for college, pursuing skilled trades, or exploring new career paths, the Career Connection Center is here to help you take confident, informed steps toward your future.
