Every Day Attendance Matters
Students who miss 10% or more of the school year are considered chronically absent. Regular attendance helps students:
- Learn and stay on track academically.
- Build strong relationships with teachers and classmates.
- Develop positive habits that support lifelong success.
- Feel connected to their school community.
Good attendance starts early. Students who attend school regularly in the early grades are more likely to succeed throughout their education.
