What's in the toolkit?

An Attendance Toolkit was developed for schools and shared by the Attendance Office at Genesee Intermediate School District. The toolkit provides ready-made materials that administrators, staff, teachers, and community partners can use for outreach to families. It also includes tools that schools can use to assess their own attendance practices and guide their improvement.

Materials in the toolkit are based on four key strategies that can be used to positively impact attendance.
