Social studies is the integrated study of the social sciences to prepare young people to become responsible citizens. The focus of Genesee Intermediate School District's (GISD) services in social studies is to provide assistance and resources in the areas of curriculum, instruction, and assessments. Also offered is professional development that is focused on sixth through eighth grade.
