The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a state and federally funded employment and training program. The Genesee Intermediate School District WIOA program serves in-school youth with disabilities 16 to 21 years of age. WIOA is a paid work experience program to help students develop occupational skills, positive work habits, and attainable occupational goals.
