Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) provides educational leadership that impacts instruction, learning, student achievement, productivity, and efficiency. Strong relationships and partnerships are the foundation of GISD's services and is why GISD is able to provide high quality, innovative educational programs and support services to students, parents, and educators.
GISD's departments and programs provide expansive, relevant, and state-of-the art learning opportunities in general education, career technical education, and special education. Further, a focus on early childhood education, specialized schools, robust professional development programming, along with many shared and collaborative programs, enables our organization to encompass the educational community with programs and services that reach far beyond the classroom to benefit the broader community.
At GISD, we are collaborators, leaders, educators, and service providers. It is through the knowledge, unique skills, and talents of GISD staff, and the collaborative support of stakeholders, that delivery of our programs and services are achieved, and our most important role - service to students - is accomplished.
