The Genesee County Career Navigator can help you and your students create a successful WBL program.

Complete WBL management including:

  • Site Safety Inspections
  • Student employment resources
  • Training Plan & Agreement
  • Collecting weekly timesheets
  • Student Site Visits a minimum of every 9 weeks
  • Oversee Educational objectives of their program

Student's home school grants the credits, we manage the WBL placement at no cost to the school.

2nd Semester Timelines

  • Nov 21, 2022 Student WBL Applications Open for 2nd Semester
  • Now - Dec 15, 2022 Students Job Hunting
  • Dec 16, 2022 Job secured by Students
  • January 13, 2023 WBL Agreements in Place
  • January 23, 2023 Students Begin WBL Jobs
  • February 8, 2023 Count Day - WBL agreements must be in place
  • May 19, 2023 WBL Ends for Seniors
  • June 2, 2023 WBL Ends for all students

We will be limiting the program to the first 50 student applications for 2nd Semester
