The Genesee County Educational Foundation (GCEF) is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1985 by the Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) to provide students throughout Genesee County with opportunities to expand their learning experiences and earn scholarships to further their education.

The Genesee County Educational Foundation helps to support the following programs:

  • Before and After School Programs
  • Blueberry Ambassadors Program
  • Genesee Early College
  • Harold Scoville Scholarship
  • Ligon Outdoor Center
  • Mott Middle College
  • SKIP to a Great Start
  • Paul Yunker Scholarship
  • William H. Tunnicliff Memorial Scholarship

Join Us for the Annual Everyday Heroes Breakfast

Everyday Heroes text over a black background trophy in the spotlightThe GCEF annual Everyday Heroes Recognition Breakfast will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. at the Genesee Career Institute Conference Center. The event celebrates and honors individuals who positively impact the lives of children and families in Genesee County.

Individuals who would like to attend the event can register and pay $15 per person here. Be sure to indicate “GCEF Breakfast” as the specific program for your payment.
