Day Treatment Program

OK2SAYOur Mission

Day Treatment students will be given the opportunity to learn skills that will enable them to function appropriately within the school, home, and community using a team approach.

Our Program

Genesee Intermediate School District's Day Treatment Program is designed to meet the needs of students with emotional impairments. Day Treatment is comprised of three classrooms located throughout Genesee County: elementary, middle school, and high school. Day Treatment serves kindergarten through twelfth grade students from all local school districts and public school academies in Genesee County.

Services are determined based on the individual needs of the student, which emphasize the development of:

  • Social, emotional, and intellectual skills
  • Personal health habits, self care, and personal safety
