Genesee County educators care about the learning needs of children and want to see every child reach literacy milestones. Parents are valuable partners in helping their children succeed in school. One of the most important things a parent can do for their children is to read to them, starting at birth! They can help their children learn to read through simple, free, everyday activities done at home, while out in the community, or just about anywhere.
